Saturday's Seven 5-1-10

Here are some of the best I have viewed this week:

"Jennifer Knapp & Larry King: Why We Always Lose this Debate" by Trevin Wax.  This article is a good introduction to how believers should approach the homosexuality debate.

"Is Faith Necessary?" by Kevin DeYoung.  DeYoung tackles the question, "Do people of other faiths have to believe in Jesus to go to heaven?"  His answer is both biblical and gracious.

"Three Main Steps to Starting Family Worship" by James Grant.  Simple enough even Christian caveman can do it.

"How Will My Son Be Saved?" by Greg Lucas.  This article addresses the issue of salvation and the mentally handicapped.  I appreciate Mr. Lucas' fatherly wisdom.

"Miss Whitebread Was Wrong" by Andy Le Peau.  This is an article for writers struggling with the concept of outlining.

"The Best Way to Punish Your Kids" by Tyler Kenny.  A clear reminder of the importance of godly living in a parent's life.

"Alternative Future #1" by Jerry Rankin.  This post is about a possible future the SBC faces should it not rally around a Great Commission Resurgence.

Bonus:
Baptists and the Cross by The Andrew Fuller Center for Baptist Studies (@ SBTS).  This an announcement concerning an upcoming conference at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  It looks like it is going to be a great one.  If any of you would be willing to go, let me know.
